Laboratory of Organic and Macromolecular Chemistry

Laboratory of Organic and Macromolecular Chemistry logoThe Laboratory of Organic and Macromolecular Chemistry (IOMC, Lehrstuhl II/Schubert) is part of the Faculty School of Chemistry and Earth Sciences of the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Germany). The laboratory cover a range of research fields between organic synthesis, macromolecular chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, combinatorial material research as well as nanoscience. Most of this research is carried out within the framework of the Dutch Polymer Institute (DPI) and the Center for Nanomaterials (cNM), while the schubert group participates in the Dutch polymer research school (PTN) and the Center for Nanoscience (CeNS) in Munich. The Laboratory has strong cooperations with the Center for Nanoscience Munich, the University Louvain-La-Neuve and the University of Gent. Significant support is obtained from the DPI, NWO, BASF, AGFA, Bayer, Cognis and the Fonds der Chemischen Industrie.

Global Journals

The Global Journals is an international platform for Scientists, Engineers, Managers, Doctors and Professors involved in all streams of Research to publish high quality research papers, review papers. The family of Global Journal offers Original, Survey and Review papers from researchers in their field, thus promoting insight and understanding of the state of the philosophy and trends in knowledge.

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine opened its doors in Bellinzona, Switzerland, in September of 2000 with the goal of improving understanding of human immunology. In the ten interceding years the IRB has grown from the initial 20 to more than 80 people. More than 300 papers have been published in leading scientific journals and a doctoral program in immunology has seen the successful defense of 35 doctoral theses. Contributions to understanding the basic mechanisms of the immune system have led to several important breakthroughs that have changed the landscape of immunology research and gained worldwide recognition for the IRB as a center of excellence. In 2009 the IRB redesigned its website using Joomla and J!Research. The J!Research team has been great and the extension has developed around real needs of research institutions.

National Institute for Direct Instruction

The National Institute for Direct Instruction (NIFDI) is the world's foremost Direct Instruction (DI) support provider. This website provides information and resources for administrators, teachers, and parents to help them maximize student achievement through DI. The website also contains information on DI's extensive and broad research base, including a searchable database of more than one hundred article summaries which is based on J!Research 1.1.x.
